Christmas
We had a really good Christmas. I'm soo glad my family was able to make it up to my house. The only place they got stuck was in my driveway. In fact we still need chains to get out of our driveway. Jonah had a really good Christmas, he now has some new favorite toys. Especially the train and dinosaur books he got from his auntie Shawnananana. I thought I would share a video of my favorite present.

Sledding
I think Jonah has found a new favorite outdoor activity. With all the snow we've been haveing we decided to pull out Adam's snow boards that we've been hauling around forever. I don't think they've been used in the whole time we've been married. But we've finally found a use for them.

Painting Pumpkins
Last night Jonah and I had a lot of fun painting pumpkins. I got a big pumpkin and a little pumpkin out and asked Jonah which one he wanted to paint. He chose the small one. And when he was done painting his pumpkin he helped me paint mine. Tonight we are going to carve our other pumpkin since daddy got the day off work to go trick or treating.

Project 38
Testing testing.... Last night Jonah and I visited the lab like we usually do when we are in town. But this time I had Adam draw my blood to run some tests. I love being able to get free lab work done. It's all about who you know he he. I think this is the first time he's drawn my blood that I didn't bruise. In his defense he doesn't draw blood very often he just runs the tests. After Adam drew my blood Jonah and I left. I had to go to a meeting at church. I made some yummy oatmeal craisen cookies for refreshments. In case anyone is wondering about the recipe, because I know I would be here it is: http://www.quakeroatmeal.com/qo_quakerKitchen/recipes/recipe.cfm?recipeID=461&RecipeName=Famous_Oatmeal_Cookies&toReturn=L3FvX3F1YWtlcktpdGNoZW4vcmVjaXBlcy9TZWFyY2hSZXN1bHRzLmNmbT9TZWFyY2hUeXBlPWtleXdvcmQmYW1wO0tleXdvcmRzPSZhbXA7Y2F0ZWdvcnlJRExpc3RfMT02JmFtcDtjYXRlZ29yeWlkbGlzdF8yPSZhbXA7U3RhcnRSb3c9MjY=
After my meeting we went back to the hospital because I was very curious as to what my test results were (well I was actually just curious about one test result). I just couldn't wait the 20 min it takes to get home. Jonah was happy because he loves going to visit daddy at work. We get to the lab and Adam gives me my results. He starts out telling me that my cholesterol is good it's 178 and my HDL was 46 he goes on to tell me my glucose was a little high it was 109 but that doesn't really mean anything, because this wasn't a fasting blood test. I had baked potato salad before coming to the lab so I wasn't suprised. Well at this point I'm getting really frustrated and just want to find out the results of the one test I was interested in. So I make Adam tell me where my results were so I could look myself. When I looked I was sooo excited my HCG was 38.8. In case anyone doesn't know what HCG is: The hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (better known as hCG) is produced during pregnancy. Meaning I am just barely pregnant and due sometime late June.

The pumpkin patch
Man I've really been falling behind on this blog stuff. On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch. I was all my friend Shannon's fault she was the one that put the idea in my head. It just hadn't clicked yet that it was October and Halloween was coming up. It even got me starting to think of a Halloween costume for Jonah. He is going to be the scariest thing I could think of a bee. Anyway we went to the pumpkin patch and Jonah had a great time running around and checking everything out. There were horses and rabbits to look at. We got to feed the chickens and we wandered around looking at pumpkins. Jonah's favorite part of the day was throwing rocks in the water. He's such a boy!

EWWWWWWWW
Today for lunch I made Jonah my famous PB & J sandwich. Which he completely turned his nose up at a refused to eat. A few minutes later he finds some suckers and asks very nicely if he can have one. I of course tell him he has to eat his sandwich first. So he grudgingly climbs up into his chair then points to the ketchup (which Adam had left on the table) and indicates that he wants some. So I put a small amount on his plate. He then dips his sandwich in the ketchup and proceeds to enjoy his peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
